A more reasonable run
Jul. 20th, 2016 06:53 pmWith the weather much improved from yesterday, R and I went out for a run in the warm summer evening. Starting in Newtown, we wound our way through St Leonards, took a turn around the river and came back. When we got to bridge, I asked if we were doing the long loop to Countess Wear or whether we were going to start back. Faced with a wobbly lower lip and a very sad expression, I correctly concluded concluded it was time to set course for home.
In the end we managed completed 10.5K in around 55 minutes — solidly in keeping with a mid-twenties 5K time and in line with R's current 10K time.
