Waiting in departures

Spent the morning packing and picking up books that seem to be hard to get hold of in the UK. After discovering the ferry queue was distinctly minimal, I spent the afternoon wandering round the islands and dodging cyclists with rather more enthusiasm than skill. After climbing the Gibraltar Point lighthouse, I had a late lunch at the Rectory Cafe before heading back to pick up my stuff and go to the airport. Discovered from the BA check in people that it's apparently impossible to get a veggie meal — BA are so lame, I'm going to make a serious effort to avoid ever flying with them again — I grabbed some pizza and a pastry before heading through to departures. Let's hope the flight goes ok...
