Being a busy bee
Oct. 29th, 2006 09:03 pmI wasted my extra daylight saving hour wandering around Bristol, enjoying the sunny weather and checking out the finest comics Forbidden Planet had to offer. In the end, I came away with the latest Planetary — yay! — and a copy of Neal Asher's Polity Agent, to wit, once again, yay!
I rounded the day off by whipping up a batch of pumpkin risotto whilst listening to The Stones of Venice and the truly excellent Rigor Mortis — this week's featured a wonderful moment where a tortoise is substituted for a human brain after someone accidentally mistakes the real brain for a third lung. I'm mildly surprised it didn't put my off my supper.
