Tiger, Tiger burning bright

Now that I'm officially Someone who is Going Somewhere, it can only be a matter of time before I get assigned to head up a tiger team of my very own. vincel has suggested that I head up the team in charge of data mining the MASS archive in Objective Fnord. I think I'll apply for the position first thing tomorrow.

Taking a rain check

The Good Doctor, Mr Irish and Mr Welsh have gone to the pub, but I've like decided to take a rain check. For some reason, totally beyond the witt of God or man, they've chosen to go drinking way down at like the other end of town or something and I'm too tired to haul ass down there. Instead, I'm going to fall asleep on my keyboard while like checking out the newly released Alias 3 on DVD, dream strange dreams of chicks in wigs doing kung fu and then I'm going to wake up in like two hours time with a freaky deaky querty facial. Sounds pretty cool to me.
