Flooring it

I'm currently reading Accelerando by Charlie Stross and so far I'm enjoying it, even if it is a bit information dense in places. As the blurb on back has it, quoting from Jon Courtenay Grimwood's review of Singularity Sky, it is a bit "like being trapped in the middle of an exploding ideas factory without a helmet." Which seems to my mind to be a pretty good place to be trapped...
