Manchester again

Up early to lower the genoa — the sacrificial strip needs to be renewed prior to storage over winter — but we decided it was too windy and called the whole thing off. After a pause for breakfast, we picked up the hire car and headed to Preveza for me to catch my flight back to the UK. The checkin went smoothly, I boarded on time and the plane took off dead on time, despite the spectacular thunderstorms bearing down on Levkas.

Got in to Manchester dead on time and I'm now killing time, waiting for my flight to Exeter, reading the Observer and stuff like that.

Home again, home again

Well, I'm back. I had a good flight down to Exeter, although the additional security at Manchester was a bit of a pain. I checked in with what I thought was plenty of time to spare, but in the end, I only just made my flight thanks to the additional security checks needed to get through to departures.
