DAB sound quality

Today's Guardian mentions that if you live in an area with good FM reception, then the sound quality of analogue is likely to be better than the sound quality of DAB. Not a problem for me — my FM reception is so bad that broadcasts sound like they're coming through a heavy rain storm — but a serious problem for the people who were hit by the Beeb's attempts to cut Radio 3's bandwidth by 20 percent in the middle of the proms season.
