Past master of funny

In place of The News Quiz, R4 ran a tribute to Alan Coren. God, I'm going to miss him. He was just so funny, with those great stories that would just take off from nowhere — my favourite has to be his account of how he was taught ballroom dancing by a former sergeant major — and the way he'd just throw off a great joke with an effortless shrug. What a loss.
