Books with odd titles

Today's Guardian features a article on, and a set of cover photos of, books with odd titles. My favourite is Knitting with Dog Hair, subtitled Better a sweater from a dog you know and love than from a sheep you'll never meet. But I also like the sound of The Sexual Politics of Meat: a Feminist-Vegetarian Critical Theory — very much my sort of book.

Consumerism and running

I've had a surprisingly successful day. I finally got round to buying a stereo switch, which has greatly simplified the task of switching my powered speakers from mac to radio and back. I also managed to locate a pair of new earplugs — the only ones I really get on with are Speedos and, despite searching for the last month or so, I've struggled to find the right sort.

I've even managed to add a reasonable number of miles to my total, despite feeling slightly tired after the week. I've now passed through Crickhollow and I'm rapidly closing in on Tom Bombadil which means, I'm afraid, more singing. Hmm.
