Walton on Piercy

Jo Walton has a interesting post on Tor on Marge Piercy's excellent and absurdly underrated novel, Woman on the Edge of Time. Particularly interesting are the comments on the ambiguous ending and the way that it can be read both optimistically and pessimistically.
