Progress Update: road rash

While out running this morning, I suffered a sudden and catastrophic loss of traction and found myself face down on the tarmac in front of the Port Royal. I now find that I have, among other things:

• a skinned left knee
• a grazed right knee
• a huge, grapefruit-sized (I kid you not) lump of a bruise on my right thigh
• a gouge in finger on left hand
• an epically bruised left palm
• a moderately bruised right palm
• bruised ribs
• a bruised right shoulder
• a cut and bruised chin

Essentially I've managed to damage almost all the points on my skeleton that come into contact with a surface when lying prone. Something tells me I've got a few days of serious insomnia ahead of me until I start to heal up.
