doctor_squale down at the quay (we were both out for a morning consitutionals, he was running early and I was runing late) I settled in for a day of idleness with Agatha Christie's short stories — truly the antithesis of Big Fat Fantasy. Short, entirely plot focused, featuring an identikit cast and almost no character development: just what my GRRM frazzled brain needed.
