2011: a year of reading manically
Jan. 10th, 2012 09:28 pmA little bit behind schedule, here's the final manic reading project update for 2011: 110 books, 58% of which have been ebooks. This averages out at 2.1 books a week or one book every 4 days. It also means, according to my rough calculations, that I've read something in excess of 10.24 million words in the last year which averages out at something like 28,000 words a day. According to LibraryThing, the most heavily used primary tags in my catalogue in 2011 were: fantasy (38%); crime (28%); science fiction (18%); horror (5%); steampunk (5%).
