First Night of 2012 Proms!

First night of this years proms, but the programme really didn't appeal. I don't really get Delius — in a Indy piece by Jessica Duchen, John Bridcut calls him a "marmite composer" — and I find Elgar rather tedious, especially in his choral pieces. Hmm.

And tomorrow promises Lerner and Loewe in the form of My Fair Lady. Perhaps I'll have t o wait until Debussy's Pelléas and Mélisande on Sunday for something I really like...
