Home again, home again...
Jan. 5th, 2013 09:01 pmPretty uneventful journey back to Exeter. The only thing close to notable was overhearing a football & Vonnegut fan pronounce, "A Ginsters and a Carlsberg? That's the Breakfast of Champions, that is!"
The line problems caused by the pre-xmas floods seemed to have been sorted. There weren't any delays and, around St David's, there were signs of serious engineering works: thousands of tonnes of chippings, vast numbers of new sleepers waiting to go in, old sleepers lying around after being taken out, and furrows left by heavy machinery. Let's hope it's enough to stave off problems in future.
