A resting raptor
Aug. 30th, 2013 12:41 pmOn the way in to work this morning, I spotted a large bird of prey standing on one of the fence posts in the little gully that runs along the east side of the campus. Given the distance and the angles it's hard to be conclusive, but from the colouring — dark brown with cream underside and long yellow legs — it was either a female sparrowhawk or goshawk.
