Somewhere high above the earth...

If everything has gone according to plan, I should be somewhere over the middle of the Atlantic around bound for Chicago. After a few hours lay over, we're due to catch the daily flight to Eau Claire, where the temperature is forecast to be -30 Celcius and there is a wind chill advisory in force:

A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in frostbite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.

Um, yay? I hope I'll be OK: I'm taking more clothes than the Shackleton and if it gets really cold, I'm going to wear them all at the same time, but still...
