Thirteenth parkrun

Back on home ground but very slow going this morning. After heavy rain overnight, the university playing fields were saturated, with so little traction that it was like running on an ice rink. Except much muddier. If this carries on, I think I might need to buy a pair of trail shoes. If nothing else, I need more than one pair of shoes to give them a chance to dry out between runs.

Despite a very slow time — 21:51 — I still finished 12th overall, 10th male finisher, and second in my age category. Which isn't too shabby considering how out of shape I feel at the moment...
