My grandmother has just exhorted me to watch the The Brain Hospital, on the grounds that it features some relative or other of mine. She said last week's episode was fascinating, with patients having things shoved up their noses to fix problems with their pituitaries, while the surgeons chattered away to the camera, describing the gory details for the ghouls at home. Somehow, I don't think I'm going to be tuning in.
