I've just realised I forgot to mention today's train related flashback.

I was late arriving in Brum, so I had to run for my connexion. I jumped through the doors of the first carriage, just as the doors were closing, only to find myself stuck in first class land. I decided that, rather than hauling ass down to chav class, I'd just hang out next to the door and hope that no one chucked me off before I hit the old home town.

Unfortunately, I discovered too late that Sherman McCoy was standing next to the door having a conversation on his cell. It was like stepping back to the 80s - he was talking in lamo yuppie power speak and saying "Ok, ya" a lot. I had a hard time suppressing my giggling fit.
