THES on Dissent over Descent

I'm reliably informed that the THES article nominating Steve Fuller's Dissent over Descent as their Book of the Week was passed round his colleagues by their head of department.

For some unknown reason, Guardian's scathing review, mentioned a few weeks ago, was not circulated.

thats possibly because the THES review was penned by someone with credentials beyond being a video game expert.

While I don't necessarily disagree with your thumbnail sketch of Steven Poole, I fail to see how it addresses his criticisms of Fuller's arguments...
