sawylThe Grauniad makes mention of a campaign to persuade people not to sing God Save the Queen at the Oval, but to sing Jerusalem instead. Sounds like nothing but a good thing to me: God Save the Queen is the worst anthem ever - it's so bad it even makes the Star Spangled Banner, who's tune started out as a drinking song, sound good.
Little wonder, perhaps, that England's sporting prowess is generally somewhat lacking.
