The missing ingredient

Finally, after years of planning, my parents have managed to upgrade the kitchen to the point where it actually makes cooking a pleasurable experience. The only thing they've neglected, it seems to me, is a radio — what it really needs is a stereo in the dining room and a couple of satellite speakers in the kitchen itself to turn it from a really great space into an absolutely perfect one.

I think I'm going to start lobbying opinion as soon as my parents come back from Egypt — perhaps if I hit them while they're still tired from their appalling night flight, I might be able to get them to agree to something...
