Out for my first river run since getting back, I was slightly surprised by the height of the river. I shouldn't have been. Goodness knows, it rained enough yesterday to make Noah feel nostalgic. And all that water must have gone somewhere. But it wasn't until I saw that the river was high enough to run over the spillway and flood the Riverside Park channel from Trews Weir to Duck Marsh that it struck me just how much rain we've had in the last couple of weeks.
