Seeing the new year in

Gentle day of not really doing very much apart from cooking, reading and going for walks in a very frosty park. The park was surprisingly busy given the weather, with many people trying out new Christmas bikes or skates or hats and coats and scarves. There were even a few runners, most of whom seemed to favour a cautious pace with a marked tendency to stop and walk on the hillier sections.
