Kudos to the smart kids who, with impressive foresight, took today off. As a non-smarty, I had a pretty restful day following our little local difficulty and spent most of my time reading a book by Tom Regan.

Unfortunately, my peaceful day seems to have rebounded on me like a karmic boomerang and I've spent most of the evening trying to resuscitate all the broken bits and pieces...
