A happy accident

During a chance browse through the bookstore — I say chance, but actually, since I go there a couple of times a week, it probably isn't — I discovered a copy of Paulo Bacigalupi's The Windup Girl. Since I'd been hearing good things about it for a while and since it won the Nebula last week, I snapped it up and immediately bounced it to the top of the pile. Yum.
