The impossible has happened
Apr. 25th, 2005 10:12 pmI've actually enjoyed my brief visit to Coventry.
The weather was really nice yesterday, so I spent the morning mooching round town, hanging out in a cafe skimming through the books I'd picked up. Then in the afternoon, I went walking in Stoneleigh which didn't seem to have been totally ruined by all the new, controversial, commercial flights from Bagington Airport - all I saw were loads of little weekend fliers.
Today, the weather kinda sucked, so I spent morning lazing around and went to Brumage around lunch time, so that I could wander round the shops in before catching the train back to Ex. I had a good look around Borders and HMV - sadly the Apple Store was still in the process of being fitted out - before I had to go and I was quite impressed. It's New Street's one good feature: if you've got time to kill between trains, there are a bunch of totally decent stores within 5 minutes of the station.
