For Good Friday, here's the recit Am Abend, da es kühle war followed by the exquisite bass aria Mache dich, mein Herze, rein, performed by Stephan MacLeod with accompaniment from Collegium Vocale Gent and Philippe Herreweghe:


MacLeod's performance is quite superb — just listen to how smoothly and evenly he takes the long opening line of the aria. Amazing.
