Different trains

Very much enjoyed Steve Reich's Different Trains on R3 this morning. There's something very powerful about the train music, all hypnotic rhythms and whistles and sirens, combined with collaged elements representing two very different war-time train journeys: first Reich travelling from New York to Los Angeles, next Holocaust survivors talking about the trains that took them to the camps.
