A late birthday party

Didn't leave C's birthday bash until much later than planned — I failed to hitch myself on to the coattails of other peoples' departures. Not necessarily a bad thing — as the crowd thinned out, I got chatting with people I hadn't had a chance to speak to earlier — but I'm sure I'm going to feel it when I have to get up early for work tomorrow morning...
