Thanks to a timely prod from my parents, I've been reminded that today is one of my niece's Signficant Birthdays. It's amazing how quickly time has flown: it doesn't seem like long ago that I was on my way home from my second year at university, my stuff packed into a van that E was returning to Coventry, looking forward to going to the hospital to visit my sister and her new daughter...
