An end to a busy week

sawylA busy end to a busy week. After a decent run first thing marred only by some very deep puddles a couple of miles from the end, I spent the morning cleaning up some of the fall out from the recent problems, including something that looked intriguingly like a IO starvation problem, before dashing hope for lunch and an afternoon of attempting to come to grips with domestic chaos.
With the worst of the chaos under control, I skivved off, spent the rest of the afternoon bouldering, and capped some moderate successes by finally managing one of the overhung problems. After a couple of tries, I finally realised that I'd misread the footwork required to complete the transition from horizontal to vertical and then everything just fell into place. In the process of checking things I messed up the penultimate move and fell backwards onto a big sloper on the edge of the overhang, leaving me with a what I suspect is going to be an epic set of bruises along my back, before finishing with a nice clean send that lets me cross it off the list for good.
