So much done; so much still to do

I've caught up on some of the things I simply have to do before I can go away. But, with time rapidly running out, a few vital things, many important things, and endless nice-to-dos remain undone. It's entirely my fault for not keeping on top of things, but that's not a lot of help at this point.

A large part of the soundtrack to my day has been provided by Felix Mendelssohn's oratorio Paulus which, while may not have the fire and drama of Elijah, remains a perfectly enjoyable piece.
