sawylToday's Night Waves focused on the cultural icon that is Solaris. The discussion featured Will Self and Mike Hodges talking about both the original Stanislaw Lem novel and the 1972 Tarkovsky film, and left me with an ardent desire to re-read the novel, to re-acquaint myself with it after a decade long absence, to see if it really is as good as I remember it.
