Meeting the nephew
Dec. 21st, 2014 08:44 pmVery tired after the last couple of weeks, I spent the day taking it easy and reading my way through one of Benedict Jacka's Alex Verus novels — enjoyable but not immensely demanding stuff.
I also finally met my new nephew for the first time when my sister dropped him off with my mum for a spot of babysitting. He's amusingly tiny — his official due date wasn't until early December but my sister had been so ill that they brought him forward by a couple of weeks, so he's not as old as his birthday suggests.
The rest of my sister's lot were off to the theatre, with the oldest boy off to the pantomime with H and the second one was off with his parents to see The Gruffalo at Warwick Arts Centre. Both trips were successful and everyone seems to have had a good time.
