I'm just finishing up Samantha Shannon's The Mime Order, which seems a good deal better than it's predecessor. While I'm doing that, here's some appropriate music in the form of the Liszt/Horowitz piano version of Saint-Saëns' Danse Macabre performed by Vassilis Varvaresos:
