Arctic temperatures led to plenty of icy patches on the paths this morning, but in compensation the playing fields were still frozen giving more traction than last week. I managed a reasonable 20:47 finished 18th, despite the conditions and despite being crapped on by a gull as I was making my way back over the bridge — both M and Chef Paul told me it was lucky, but the only lucky thing I could see was my decision to wear sunglasses...
