Nineteenth parkrun
Feb. 27th, 2016 11:10 amEvery so slightly better than last week at 21:34 but still nowhere close to my best. The run out was into the wind and a real slog — to the point where I wasn't sure how I was going to make it round! — but it improved massively once we were under the cover of the trees. Going across the playing field was firm for the first time in a while and I was noticeably less mud splattered than last week.
On the downside my ITB continues to nag at me — not badly, but enough that I've started walking home rather than running — and strongly suggests I need to resume some moderately paced mid-week runs and take steps to manage my tireness ahead of Saturday's runs.
