Proper winter running
Nov. 3rd, 2016 08:58 pmAnother run, this time equipped with my head torch which I'd finally remembered to dig out and recharge. I'd forgotten how good it is. It's got a clever adaptive feature which saves power where possible and cranks up the light output when it detects a poor return from ahead. It certainly made my run far better and far safer than yesterday, where there were places where I couldn't see where I was going at all. But on the downside, running down by the river where the humidity was high, there was quite a lot of backscatter and the view wasn't quite as clear as it might have been in crisp, dry weather.
