Sheppard's Libera Nos

Todays choral piece is the meditative antiphon Libera nos I by the Tudor composer John Sheppard. It's not actually an advent piece — it's proper place is Trinity Sunday — but it's so beautiful, it's hard not to choose it.

The performers here are Siglo de Oro — who, not at all coincidentally, were guests on tonight's In Tune, performing a range of Christmas carols.
