Forty-seventh parkrun

sawylA good start to this week's run with a very fast first kilometre, but the pace dropped back over the field and I finished in a fairly routine 20:18. As may be apparent from the title of the post, I'm rapidly approaching my 50th parkrun.
If I include last week's volunteering stint — which doesn't actually count towards my run total — I can get to 50 events by doing both a Christmas Eve and a Christmas Day run. If I count more strictly, I'm due to do my 50th run on New Year's Day.
Sounds like an excellent way to mark the end of the old year and the start of the new one.
