Blinded by the sun

At around nine this morning, one of the maintenance bods came by and took away the useless, partly transparent, blinds. Unfortunately, he has yet to return to fit the new solid slat ones, so I've had to spend most of the day squinting through blinding glare.

I suppose, given that we've been waiting for new blinds for the last three years, a couple more days won't hurt all that much, but it's still kind of annoying that they had to pick quite such a sunny day to make the change. I mean, we are supposed to be a weather forecasting organisation after all...
