I've just noticed that I've lost an hour. I could have sworn it was only 8 or 9...

Does that mean you've lost 0 or 1 hours or 1 or 2 hours? 0 is still in there.

I'm not sure. All I know is that my brain hurts...

Oh well. in retrospect I've no idea what I meant. I blame being in a different time zone.

Splick! I've generally found it to be pretty stable. Definitely better than Firefox on my Linux box, which slows down to a crawl unless I regularly take time out of my busy browsing schedule to fit in a quick stop/start. I don't know what I'd do without the save sessions and restart extensions...

To be fair, Safari is probably more stable than any other browser/OS comination I have used. I have a bad habit of scrolling up and down pages by selecting the text. On LJ this seems to do something fatal with Safari. Otherwise, it is great.

That's my basic problem: my body thinks it's in a different time zone. Fortunately, after doing my travelling on a bank holiday, I've got so much time off due that I can take a week off to recover. In the mean time, I plan on heading off to the Barcelona for an evening of shameless hedonism...

I must be doing something wrong. I'm in Barcelona, but I'm not managing the shameless hedonism

Shameless hedonism is a state of mind. A state best engendered by seeking out someone with a corporate slush fund and getting them to take you out.

For example, Toronto was full of psychiatrists — the APA were having their annual shindig (http://www.psych.org/edu/ann_mtgs/am/06/index.cfm) there — so naturally, I went around doing my best Derek Flint (http://imdb.com/title/tt0059557/) impression and being taken out by pharmaceutical reps....
