Hidden address book features

Here's a nice feature of the OS X address book: if your phone is connected to the mac via bluetooth, control-clicking on a phone number gives you the options of dialing or sending an SMS to the number. This latter is particularly great if you're a hopeless texter like me. Thanks to vincel for pointing this out — I'd never have found it otherwise.

Oh that sounds useful. I'm not sure my phone speaks to my Mac properly, though. I can send photos over bluetooth, but not much else.

I don't remember having to do anything particularly clever. All I think I did was pair the devices and then use the bluetooth icon in Address Book to link them. Once I'd done that, it all just seemed to work...
