Nikiana again
Sep. 16th, 2006 10:48 pmRan down from Meganisi to One Tree, with the wind gradually increasing all the way. By the time we closed on the wind to head in to Nikiana, it was five gusting six and we were really moving. We (ok, I) had so much fun that, we tacked — despite my unwise and mistaken attempt to gybe — reached out and reached back again before going in to take the last place on the quay.
A celebration on the quay after Swimming Club (of which I seem to be an honourary member) in honour of the latest building project. We then went up to admire P&K's beautifully stylish new house, which has a jaw droppingly stunning view of the inland sea before heading back into town for showers and big slap up meal at the pizzaria with the rest of the gang. All in all, a delightful last day.
