Feline dentistry

My parents took the rather geriatric cat to the vet for her usual injections or something, only for the vet to tut at the state of her teeth and demand that they bring her in for a scale and polish the next day. So, following a number of abortive attempts when they couldn't catch her in time for the appointment, the cat now has a pristine set of gnashers and my parents are 200 quid poorer.
