Away day return
Jan. 2nd, 2006 08:49 pmSomewhat surprisingly, the New Year Party was a big success. The food was great, the presence of my grandmother was suitably diluted — her only foot in mouth moment involved going round telling everyone at least twice that she'd mistaken her nieces for my aunt's neighbours — and I got to see a whole bunch cousins I hadn't seen in ages.
