Inducing your own headaches

Today, whilst talking through an apparent bug in qsub with C, I had a sudden revelation. It occurred to me that, rather than qsub itself being the cause of the problem, our obnoxious wrapper script — something written under duress by Yours Truly — might be to blame. Sure enough, when I checked the script, I discovered that it was indeed the source of the misbehaviour and I thanked God we'd caught the problem before we got round to PSRing it, burning away yet more of our meagre, precious supply kudos.
