Whilst doing the shopping, I was surprised to discover that some of the office blocks in the city centre were visible from Earlsdon High Street. I was amazed by this and, convinced that some sort of obstruction had previously blocked the view, racked my brains in an attempt to determine what had been removed. I eventually realised that I'd been working under a misapprehension: nothing had been removed; the reason I'd never seen the view before me was down to my appallingly crappy eyesight.
